Customer Information

Electric Ireland are committed to delivering Smarter Living solutions to our customers. For us, Smarter Living means simple ideas that make life better. This journey began over five years ago when we first partnered with the Irish owned company Climote, offering their remote heating control to our customers.

Smarter Living is not only about the products and services we offer, it’s about how we make our customers lives easier. We are the first Irish energy supplier to offer customers a full online store with ability to browse products, pay and arrange installation appointment without having to leave the website.

Remember to check out Electric Ireland Shop for future innovations coming soon.

WEEE Recycling

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is taken back free of charge on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis. Waste batteries including rechargeable batteries are taken back free of charge. You are not obliged to make any purchase when returning old batteries. Each local authority must also accept household WEEE and small batteries free of charge at its recycling facilities. All WEEE and waste batteries must be recycled and should not be placed in any of your household wheelie bins. Make sure you always recycle all your old electrical goods and batteries.

Electric Ireland will take back your WEEE on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis, free of charge at the time of delivery or within 15 days of delivery of your new product. Simply email homeservices@electricireland.ie to ensure arrangements are put in place and to allow us to contact you with a 24-hour notice of delivery and collection. WEEE and waste batteries can also be returned to your local civic amenity site free of charge. You can visit WEEE Ireland to find the civic amenity site closest to you where you can recycle your WEEE, Batteries and Light bulbs.
